What is
Automation Server
“Automation Server” is a program
which run at the background to keep running some preset schedule jobs.
Basically this program should not be stopped or otherwise all pre-schedule
automation jobs will not be executed. “Automation
Server” is useful for running routine jobs, such as generate daily
reports, daily data collection, monthly system maintenance, etc. In “Automation Server”, you can define
the execution frequency for each job, e.g. Once a day at 10AM, Twice a day at
10AM & 10PM, twice a week on every Monday & Thursday. You will find

Normally,
the “Automation Server” should be run in server instead of
workstation because basically server will not shut down every day and so it
can run schedule jobs at night. |
