Roster Statistic Setup (For Retail Web Module)

Make sure you have completed following session(s)

l            Department Setup

 

 

This session is just for Retail Web Module ONLY. Please ignore this session if you don’t have such module. With this setup, user can customize the statistic options of the duty roster user interface by each department

 

 

Steps

1.            Select a department, right-click and choose [Edit]

 

2.            Select “Web Retail Module” page, and press [Statistics setup]

 

3.            Click on the different parts of the diagram to setup [Calendar], [Staff List], [Roster], [Statistics(Row)], and [Statistics(Column)] respectively.

 

4.            For [Calendar] setup, user may decide what type of holiday will be shown in the header of the roster interface. Before entering the [Holiday Type Code], user has to define the code in [Special Day List] setup first. For details, please refer to the chapter [Special Day List] setup.

 

4.1         Below are the screen captures before/after set of the [Holiday Type Code].

5.            For [Roster] setup, user may enable/disable the on screen alert on any changes of the cells which date are earlier than the current date.

 

6.            For [Statistics(Row)] setup, user may configure the statistic items analyzed by staff. Please see below for details.

 

6.1         Enable “Day-Off count” to show how many staffs are Day-Off on the day. Results as shown below:

 

6.2         Enable “On-Duty count” to show how many staffs are On-Duty on the day. Results as shown below:

 

6.3         Enable [Manpower] option to show alert when insufficient manpower (By Shift code) was assigned on the day.

 

User may define the minimum headcount of each day in the week by Shift code.

6.4         Enable [Manpower] option to show alert when insufficient manpower (By Duty Type) was assigned on the day.

 

User may define the minimum headcount of each day in the week by Duty Type.

6.5         Enable [Key holder] option to show alert when there is no any “key holder” staff (i.e. defined by Staff Type) was assigned to the “First shift” and the “Last shift” on the day.

 

User has to define which Shift code be the “First shift” & the “Last Shift”. And which staff type is the key holder

6.6         Enable [Night / Morning shift] option to show alert when a “Morning shift” is assigned just after a “Night shift”.

 

User has to define which Shift code be the Night shift” & theMorning Shift”.

6.7         Enable [Manager] option to show alert when no manager grade staffs were assigned on the specific date.

 

User may define the “Manager grade” and the “present date list” as below :

7.            For [Statistics(Column)] setup, user may config the statistic items analyzed by day. Please see below for details.

 

7.1     Enable [Manpower] option to show how many days of duty were assigned by Shift.

 

7.2     Enable [Day-off count] option to shown individual day-off count

 

 

7.3     Enable [Wrk Hrs] option to count individual working hour

 

7.4     Enable [Event Return] option to count how many days the staff works before / after event.

 

7.5     Enable [Leave statistics] option to show Leave summary of specific leave types.

 

User may select which “Leave Type” to be shown on the roster screen. For each selected “Leave Type”, user may also select what kind of information to be shown (i.e. Entitle / Deduct / Balance). Moreover, enable the option [Alert when CF > 0] to show alert when there is outstanding balance (i.e. > 0) to be carried forward to next period.

7.6     Enable [Leave on Sat / Sun / Public Holiday] option to count how many days the staff takes leave on Sat / Sun / Public Holiday. User has to define which leave type to be counted.

8.            User has to press [Save] button to save changes and make it effective.
