Attach MSSQL Database

Make sure you have completed following session(s)

�. Installation of Microsoft SQL Server

Steps

1. Find and copy below 2 database files from the installation CD to the Microsoft SQL Server folder ( i.e. \mssql\data )

�. \database\TAMS.mdf

�. \database\TAMS_SYSTEM.mdf

2. Run Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and then connect to the SQL Server with login name & password you assigned during SQL Server installation.

3. In the Object Explorer window, right-click on Databases icon and select Attach

4. Press [ Add ] button and select database file TAMS.mdf. Click [ OK ] button to confirm attach database.

5. Repeat step 3 & 4 to attach another database file TAMS_SYSTEM.mdf

6. Attach database completed
